The principal
services of the Colorado Economic Development Partnership
are directed at improving the economic condition of Low-Income
Communities and Low-Income Persons by encouraging
investment.
Federal Tax Credits The Colorado Economic Development
Partnership can award qualified investors a transferable federal tax
credit equal to 39% of the investment. The Partnership can
arrange for the sale of the credits where
desired.
State Tax
Credits The Colorado
Economic Development Partnership can negotiate state tax credits
based upon investment. In some instances, the credits are
transferable and in some instances they are treated as cash
(refundable regardless of tax liability). In some states, the
tax credit can be as much as 100% of the investment.
Training
Grants & Funding The Colorado Economic Development Partnership can
assist companies in obtaining grants and other funding for job
skills training for both existing employees and new
hires.

Capital
Grants The Colorado Economic Development Partnership can
assist companies in obtaining grants to reduce the cost of
investment
Working
Capital Grants and Low Interest Loans The Colorado Economic Development
Partnership can assist companies in obtaining grants and low
interest loans to reduce the cost of an investor's debt
service.
